Princetown really is a must see place on the Great Ocean Road. It has a few cafes where you can stock up on refreshments just prior to arriving at the 12 Apostles but the main attraction is the actual area. Simply put it is spectacular. Please do take the time and have a look around here. When you turn off the Great Ocean Road first of all park your car near the bridge and take a stroll over the boardwalk which snakes its way through wetlands next to the river. It’s a very special place. Then, if you have the time, carry on a bit further until you come to the rivermouth. You have to walk a bit to get there but it is worth every step. You’ll arrive at Clifton Beach and more than likely you will be the only ones there. Enjoy. It would be worthwhile to actually stay here a few days and soak up this natural environment.
