Forrest can now lay claim to some of Australia’s best Mountain bike trails. This fully sign-posted mountain bike trail system covers more than 60ks and provides a fun and unique Otways experience. It was the locals who put the town on the right track once the logging industry finished – making sure that tourism would keep their town afloat. They have recently set up a magazine which deals with everything to do with the Otways – Otway Life. A micro brewery has recently been established in the town to cater for the growing number of tourists. Add to this a few great places to eat and some great accommodation and you have a fantastic base for a holiday.
